From the train station
The Northern Greenhouse is located 900 metres from Cairns Central Station. Head north-west on Bunda Street towards Scott Street, turn right into Aplin Street and right again into Grafton Street.
From the airport
Sun Palm Airport Shuttle – Catch the Sun Palm Airport Shuttle from outside the Domestic Terminal. Pay the driver $10 and let him know that you are staying at the Northern Greenhouse Backpacker. You will be dropped right outside the hostel 15 minutes later.
Taxi
A taxi from Cairns Airport will cost approximately $20 - $25 AUD. Taxis are located in
a rank outside the Domestic Terminal and journey time is 15 minutes.
From the bus terminal
Premier Bus Depot – The Premier Bus drop-off is a lazy 450m from the Northern Greenhouse! Walk north-west on Lake Street towards Shields Street. Turn left onto Shields Street and then right at Grafton Street 100m later.
Greyhound Coaches
Saddle your packs and walk 10 minutes from Reef Fleet Terminal (Greyhound pick-up/drop-off point) to the Northern Greenhouse. Head south-west along Spence Street and right at Grafton Street.
Convenient Parking
We have free on-site parking at the Northern Greenhouse for all our guests so cruise on up to reception and give us a toot.
